European Youth Portal

The European Youth Portal is a website for young people who are living, learning and working in Europe. It has lots of information for teenagers like you, because the EU knows how important your voice is! These opportunities and initiatives  include:

• EU Youth Policies: Get involved in your local community or democracy at all levels. This is called active citizenship. By combining your knowledge, attitude, skills and actions, you can subsequently contribute to building and maintaining a democratic society. You can therefore find articles on the website about participating in a democracy and about your rights and inclusion on the website.
• Go abroad: Share ideas and experiences with other Europeans. Whether through studying, volunteering, working or travelling, you can meet new people and learn about different cultures and perspectives. You can find details about all of these possibilities through the portal.
• EU initiatives: Find information about the different initiatives and programmes that are funded by the European Union. These include: Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps, DiscoverEU, Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange, and many more.
• EU Youth Strategy: Learn about the EU Youth Strategy. This aims to make sure all young people have the necessary resources to take party in society.

You can access all of this information through the portal, specifically focusing on the four areas described above. You can also find information about the European Year of Youth 2022, as well as connect with other projects that might interest you.
