The Australian Citizen Science Association (ACSA) hosted this webinar during their series “Connecting Communities Through Citizen Science: Local Governments Driving Citizen Science.“. This took place online on 23rd June 2021.
In this webinar you will learn about Smart Cities from Claire Chaikin-Bryan. A Smart City is one that uses technology and data to help people be more innovative and live in better cities. Lake Macquarie City Council in Australia is running initiatives to build Smart Cities using citizen science.
Then, she will pass the floor to our colleague Dr. Claire Murray, who will introduce SEEDS. The Makeathons in SEEDS and the Protothons in Lake Macquarie have a lot in common!
